Jacob Yoder is an expert in food security and international development, currently serving as Country Representative for the Democratic Republic of Congo at Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). With nearly a decade of experience as a monitoring and evaluation analyst, project manager, and farmer, he brings a unique blend of field and strategic expertise. Having grown up between rural Iowa and Ethiopia, Jacob developed an early awareness of global injustice and a strong commitment to sustainable development. He has managed and supported diverse, multi-sectoral programs across the Great Lakes region of Africa, with a focus on empowering local partners. Fluent in English and French, and familiar with several regional languages, Jacob is deeply rooted in both the communities he serves and the systems he helps shape.
